Semester Flashback - Tri Delta

Memories from this semester with Tri Delta!

“Although we like to think of every event as being focused on building our sisterhood my favourite formal event was our month long scrapbooking event! Every year we get together at the beginning of April and discuss the theme, gather the photos and materials for the scrapbook, then throughout the month whenever we have off days or need a nice exam de-stresser we can meet up together in the house and work on building the scrapbook. This was the perfect break for after exams - getting together with my sisters and working on something fun and creative that will stay with our chapter for generations to come. My favourite part is going through the different pages and sorting throughout what pictures should go where. Flipping through the book we first have pages dedicated to our philanthropy, this years philanthropy we had a candy drive near Halloween and we did a Sincerely Yours campaign for St. Judes and Sickkids. We have a page for our Bidday event with the theme “stars and crescents” with pictures to celebrate all of our lovely new members and a page for our senior rec night, where we gave our farewells and senior gifts to our graduating members. My favourite pages are those dedicated to all our other sisterhood events, like paint nights and movie nights and it’s also super fun to look back on our sisters all dressed up for social events, formals and semi formals. We even have a page dedicated to Panhellenic Love to celebrate our sisters bonding with sisters from different sororities on campus! Its definitely a lot of fun putting together the scrapbook and I especially I love taking the time to flip through scrapbooks from previous years to get inspo and see what chapter life was like in the past. Although excited for the summer I’ll definitely miss going back to the house and meeting up for formal sisterhood events, but I’m excited to look back on all the memories we made this year when I return for the new school year!”
